Think PINK......

Last night as I was getting ready for our little Earth Ranch Rodeo, a little thought came to me.

I was dressed and went to choose a watch and maybe a bracelet or two, and almost pulled off my "pink" breast cancer awareness bracelet since it didn't match my outfit.

This thought struck me, "Don't you know your sis would like to ditch cancer for the evening and deal with it sometime later on?"  I crammed that thing back on as fast as I could.

Me wearing that bracelet really doesn't accomplish much for her, but it means I'm with her all the way.  I'll wear it as long as I need to.

Tandy, you are doing awesome!  You make me feel lazy and....well, like a sissy.  Here you are getting up early, taking radiation, walking, picking the garden, preserving it one way or another, chasing around your boys......Not sure how you do it?

***This type of post goes against every anti-mushy bone in my body.  It's the truth though and sometimes its alright for me to step out of my comfort zone.

Adams Ranch

Behind....the story of my life.  Oh well, it just means that life is happening.  I wouldn't have it any other way.

Our little family met my sister Tandy's little family out at their family ranch for a little ATVing, hiking, and grilling.

Adams Ranch borders Lake Mackenzie which is between Tulia and Silverton and then north.  It is such a beautiful place.  I'd like to see it now since they've gotten a little rain.

I'm not a real big fan of looking off the edge!  Heights don't bother me that much, but cracks in the rock you are standing on does.

Some things never change, regardless of where you are.  I love how you can see Mr. Reno's little personality in these pics.

Tandy and I went hiking with the big boys.  Well, not really!!  She and I achieved almost the same thing, it just took us much longer and we didn't venture over to the super skinny part.

I could really learn to love hiking.  This was pretty much my first go at it.  Hopefully we can go back in the fall.  Ok fine, I know the fall is just around the corner.  Where is the time going?
